This morning, president hobson had me read a talk given by Thomas S. Monson back in 1989. It hit me hard and I hope some of you will take a few minutes to read it as well.
Enjoy!

Thank for the talk! I've been feeling much like the football player at the end of the talk. Not quite to the giving up stage but very much on the feelings of gross inadequacies that inhibit me from my goals. I think my favorite was 2nd Timothy which talked about Job. I didn't know that even his own wife was against him. That's hard. What a great finisher he was, his human attempt to run from his calling certainly makes me feel better about my own "i don't want to finish" thoughts. It's nice to have good examples of fellow human finishers.
